Am I right or am I right. Just look at how successful the first BETA was. Look at how it’s transforming the community and the game. For the first time in a long time, the community is kind of happy and things are looking good. But this game is far from complete and 343 has been working hard and listening to us so I think it would only be smart to give us another lick of the batter before the cake is finished.
P.S: 343 has shown they are listening and they have show they respect us enough the make the changes we want so I think it’s only fair if we respect the decision to keep sprint in Halo 5. In all honesty, sprint does not break the game, it only breaks the players that refuse change and adaptation. Come on, how would you feel if someone took away your ability to run in real life? yah… you wouldn’t like it would you. And Master chief was shown running in the Halo 3 cut scenes so it only makes since.
Finally, what I want from this game are slower kill times and a clan system and less candy looking Spartans because the red Spartans look like strawberry bubblegum and the blue Spartans look like blueberry ones.

343 stated that they have no plans for another beta
imo the beta we had was sufficient and gave 343 good and enough feedback
I don’t know if we need one but I sure would like one. I’d love to see and play the BTB stuff they have planned.
343 hasn’t shown any respect to us in the community. Nerfing sprint only shows they’re ignorant to our voices and only “fix” it to look like they’re listening.
If they were listening they’d remove sprint, they’d delay the game and re-make the maps so they are not depended on sprint. 11% voted no to sprint in their poll which only people from the US could participate in but when you look at other polls like the one Team Beyond Entertainment had not too long ago sprint got voted out with more than 70%. They even had a poll early summer last year about sprint and 74% voted no on it. On /rhalo/ on Reddit sprint always get voted no with more than 75%.
Sprint does break the game. It forces bad map-design (for Halo), it allows you to not think about pushes because you can escape easily, with tackle, thruster and sprint I can go around a map in seconds which only allows heavy spawnkilling.
And people are not suppose to adapt to a new game within a franchise, you’re only suppose to adapt when you play a game outside of the franchice. But I can agree with you that we need to adapt to Halo 4/5 because they’re not a part of the Halo franchice which because if they were we shouldn’t need to adapt to them so heavily just because the game needs to look like all other games.
I would like to see how the gameplay tweaks actually turn out and what BTB is like specifically, but I doubt we’ll get a second beta.

Getting rid of sprint would mean that they would have to change the entire gameplay and map design not just in MP but in campaign as well. it cannot be done at this point and 343i must release the game in 8/9 months.
And no halo 4 and 5 are part of the halo franchise because they are sequels to halo 3 and take place in the same fictional universe much like Halo Wars. The franchise is defined by it’s story not by it’s gameplay mechanics.
As much as I would like another Beta, it would destroy the hype for the game before release. The hype is lower than before the Beta, but it will build up again as campaign and other multiplayer modes are shown. We must be patient.
