EDIT: There is a big difference between a req game mode and a req playlist. Im proposing a req playlist (an option that shows up in the menu like doubles, griball etc), not a game mode that shows up in the rotation for btb or slayer or the fall preview playlist.
I play some warzone and its good, but i dont play it a lot. So i have this problem which im sure most people share which is that i get req’s at an insanely higher rate than i can use them in game, so 95% of my reqs just sit there collecting digital dust
But i also dont want to sell stuff (especially guns) id rather use it. So the solution to this problem, which would also add more variety and fun to arena mode, would be a req playlist
Preferably objective game modes only and no slayer. So in this game mode it would have to work differently because the games are shorter than in warzone
So everyone starts out at req level 10 and you can choose whatever you want to use. Then your req points drops accordingly, but it can never go below 3 points so that way you can choose a req for every life
Req points would also be earned faster to make up for the shorter game time. Same as warzone, you can choose your loadout from the different AR, BR and smg options etc for starting weapons
They could also do a req big team battle playlist so the vehicles could get more use i have a lot of mongeese and warthogs doing nothing for me
This game mode would be fun and solve a HUGE problem i want to use these req guns but the req point limitations in warzone plus the fact that i dont play it a lot means i keep collecting reqs without getting to use the vast majority of them which is frustrating

Why do they “need” to stay in warzone?
And do you really not have the problem i described?
Even if you dont which is unlikely, u dont think other people have this problem?
I doubt you’re able to use most of your reqs just playing warzone, and btw i dont even buy req packs and i have this problem. Ive never spent real money on them so people who do will have this problem even more so

Then please explain to me why people play super fiesta. Its the same thing except in my idea people have choice, and they get to use up those reqs instead of wasting them
Also in fiesta there are too many launchers this mode would be more balanced because you cant just spawn with rockets every other life through luck
No thank you. The point of Arena is that it is fair starts and usually the better player will win most encounters. Warzone, on the other hand, usually comes down to who has the better weapon and the better player will not win every encounter. Adding reqs to Arena would throw off the fair starts that make Halo so unique and beloved.

Because Fiesta is identical to what you’re proposing but is more balanced due to the random acquirement of weapons you spawn with.
If I decide to spawn with Tartarus’ Gavel or whatever it’s called, and I get enough REQ energy to spawn another one before I die, or a high level Rocket Launcher, I can just continuously spawn whatever REQ I desire. Continuously being able to spawn what I want can and will cause an unfair advantage to teams whose members don’t have high level REQs. Being able to pick weapons up off the ground wouldn’t be an effective way to solve that issue, either.
Also, you aren’t wasting REQs you aren’t using. In fact, you’d be wasting REQs with your idea because you’d be using them in a smaller game space in comparison to Warzone, not to mention that if you die, you aren’t getting it back, which sounds like more of a waste. Fiesta doesn’t do that.
No one’s going to sell a REQ they’re eventually going to use, either.

BTB is still part of arena
I think it wouldn’t work if levels worked the same as WZ there needs to be fair access to levelling up or no levelling.
Like for btb if we could have up to req level 6 but not right away. So with access to load outs, start on req level 3 but with no charge at the moment for the beginning raise it one level each 5 minutes till it reaches 6. The rate of recharge should maybe take longer the higher amount it is charged. Then have vehicle restriction limits.

I would have to agree. If they are going to be in arena in any fashion, they need to stay in fiesta.

When I hear Arena I think of the actual playlist, not the menu of options itself. My bad.
That sounds more plausible. I would like for more variety in an objective game but the issue would be charging levels. If you have a team that outslays with ease the opposing team might not be able to get enough REQ energy. Five minutes is a long time, too. Games can end in less time than that.
Maybe if you had up to REQ level 7, a 6 on 6 objective skirmish, with no REQ charge until a minute and a half to two minutes have passed. Then, after every minute or more, REQ level goes up, but when you call in a REQ, it doesn’t require as much energy as they do now but you still have to get that energy back if you want to call in another Railgun, for example.
Vehicle restrictions would definitely be a must. Maybe even have some REQ weapon restrictions.
Sooo you want Warzone turbo but on smaller maps pretty much? Hello to everyone spawning rockets and people getting spawn killed/subjected to one sided battles. If you want to use reqs in WZ…then use them, get player kills and ai kills and you’ll see you get reqs faster ta-da!

So then how do you solve the problem described? Because it is definitely a situation that almost every player faces. I guarantee u havent used more than 10-20% of your reqs, and selling doesnt count as using. I want to use them more but dont always play warzone so this is the best solution
Man I totally agree with you. Warzone is just not for me but i loved fiesta this weekend and I wanna use my reqs goddamit!
5v5 objective, I don’t like starting at a high req level, we could start low but gain levels faster because the games will be shorter. This would be awesome.

I didn’t realize that the goal of Halo 5 was to use all of your reqs.
