At the moment, Infinite is not especially friendly for the casual player. Part of that is due to the lack of Forge and quality Custom Games but I also think adding in some “just for fun” style modes in matchmaking would go a long way. Stuff like Infection, Swords, Hammers, Grifball, etc…
Obviously not all those would be in an “Action Sack” playlist but game modes like those in matchmaking create a much more diverse and likable experience for a large percentage of the player base.
Also think it’d be really cool to get some BTB versions of some of those kinds of modes. I generally prefer large team modes over standard 4v4.

I miss it sooooooo much. BTB Heavies was all my friends and I played besides Action Sack on MCC. Now all our favorite games and modes are missing so we actually grind Ranked now hilariously.

Imagine we will get some really whacky Action Sack stuff after Forge is released. Halo 5’s was pretty creative so think this will be a step above.
Hope there is lots of silly modes for us to play.

I absolutely LOVED Castle Wars in Halo 5. It was all I would play. Hoping for something creative like that. Also really hoping for a big Firefight Warzone mode like Halo 5 had.

I would like something like Castle Wars but not quite that. Most games ended 0-0 or 1-0 that I played.
Would love to see it come back with the same concept but wider maps.
Castle Wars with the grappling hook will be immense.
