We need a Warzone map on Sanghelios!

After playing the Halo 5: Guardians campaign for a while, specifically the missions on Sanghelios, I started thinking about how amazing it would be if we had a Warzone map set in Sanghelios; the structures would be very similar to those in the campaign: ancient yet elegant stonework. Everybody’s been asking for a more fresh look for Warzone—people have been complaining about the white structure theme—so why not do it in style? Sangheili style? The Elder Council Chamber could be the central structure of the map like the “Monument” or “Fortress”, and we could even get a Kraken boss! There are so many possibilities. We could even get dropped in by Sword Phantoms, and Palmer could tell us to help the Arbiter or something like that. Hell, maybe even the Arbiter himself could talk to us! (I know that won’t happen because Keith David is a very busy man, but hey, a guy can dream.)

What do you guys think? Would you appreciate a Warzone map on Sanghelios? Post your thoughts!

Yes please!

They made a map about Meridian…so why not? I think it will come.

Instead of getting the Arbiter to talk to us during the WZ simulation, I think it would be really interesting to have Mahkee instead. It makes more sense as she was the elite Osiris talked to on Sanghelios.

Yes definitely this needs to be a thing, i would love to see a covenant themed core room

So long as it has Arbiter commentating instead of Palmer then its all yes

OP, this is the finest idea I’ve seen on waypoint in a week. Thank you. And yes.

I agree, Sanghelios is a beautiful place in the campain, I would like to have a Warzone map and an Arena map on Sanghelios. Maybe in the Hog Wild update.

Yes, sanhelios is the best

That would be amazing.

Ooooh! Good idea!

Thats just cool we need this NOW!

Yes. A Warzone map on Sanghelios…343, make it so, and, engage.

If this becomes a thing, then to follow this theme, replace Palmer with Thel Vadam and the marines with the Sword of Sanghelios and maybe even get to play as elites.
I can see the first 2 making this amazing, but the third is just turning a regular birthday cake into a 5-tier celebration cake. They could call the DLC Return of the Sangheili and the map can be Fight for Sanghelios. And maybe bring in the Revenant and Spectre, and maybe some throwback covenant guns, with the 3-tier variants, Plasma Repeater, Plasma Rifle or Focus Rifle.
This would be the greatest DLC in Halo History

You are welcome, sir!

This is a great idea, unfortunately all good ideas and logic are left at the front of the building when entering 343 Studios.

I saw a screencap of a Warzone playlist selection screen at 343 HQ but it said things such as “2P ARC” and “Fast Warzone” but it had a map called Kraken on it.
Maybe.
I’ll post a link if I can find it again.

Great idea. I would love more Warzone maps that relate to the story.

Definately, also relates to the story with the uneasy alliance atm. Sure ONI would want us to be prepared for once.
