A direct remake will be an -Yoink!- of a map to play on with the new gameplay.
A spiritual successor is what you want.
That would be pretty cool, after all the game is called Halo 5: Guardians. To make it better, have the remake ON a Guardian.

You can’t “just make it work”. Sprint, thrusters, clamber, slide, ground pound and how much faster the gameplay is will all effect the map in huge ways; it wouldn’t be the same map at all.

they can edit it around, they made Midship and Heretic work as Truth in Halo 5
Forge project in December maybe? Me and a couple of friends remade it in Halo 4. It wasn’t too bad but certainly wasn’t right.

This. Spiritual successors are always better in new games due to the changes inherent with each new release.
It would need to be changed slightly for the use of spartan abilities but it would be awesome to see it come in as one of the free dlc maps
I agree, and as I said over on the MCC forum, I would like to see construct as well. I think it would work great with Halo 5 gameplay.
