We need a real ranking system to replace 1-50

I understand that 1-50 straight up isn’t going to happen, but I’m still incredibly upset. If 343 doesn’t come up with a real, non Reach-esque ranking system that shows a player’s true skill, then Halo 4 automatically goes from something I’ll be picking up at midnight, to a renter for me and I know many other competitive players agree with me. I already wasted money on Reach and I’m not going to make that mistake again.

Halo Reach, CoD, and Battlefield all work like this: If you just play long enough, you’ll get the highest rank in the game no matter how bad you suck. We need something better than this to replace 1-50, and I DO NOT mean Arena.

Now I’m not going to be one of those people who continues to rant on about something that’s no longer up for discussion, but what type of new ranking system would you want in H4?

P.S. A ranked classic playlist with no AAs that you can keep starting new accounts for after you hit the top rank would be nice too. haha

But will we get a good ranking system to go with them? That’s what will make or break this MP for me personally.
