Would be amazing to get a new playlist that individual skill could shine in. Make it like og lonewolves win style, where at least second place didn’t derank.
I know 343 probably doesn’t want people to continue to come back to mcc however it would bring some change.
If not that just some sort of new ranked list, can’t be that hard to implement.
Before its removal this was too low population. Even social free for all my queue times hit 15 minutes at times.
I’m all for this, I’d love to have an actual ranked FFA playlist too. Back when HaloTracker was a thing for OG Reach I loved rising up through the ranks in Rumble Pit and would love the opportunity to do so again! When I search solo in 4-player team games I always seem to get paired with the worst “teammates” in the lobby.
As an avid FFA player, the population just isn’t strong enough to justify one. Higher ranks would have to be matched with lower ranks all the time, which would make it social really. If any thing what FFA needs is the minimum player count lowered to six player, with the max still at 8 I suppose, to make getting games easier in the composer. FFA has been tougher to get games since infinite launch.
I would extend this to all of the playlists except for 8v8s.
3v3s would be fine for Slayer/Objectives.
5v5s would be fine for Slayer, like it used to be.
