As the title states, do you think we need a new Halo app or streaming platform of some sort? From my understanding, there is currently no official way to view Halo media such as the Halo movies and series, all the Terminal videos (my personal favorites), the Spartan Ops cinematics, game ViDocs, BTS videos, documentaries and all that good stuff. Me personally, I love all this stuff just as much as playing the games themselves and would love for it to all be available for instant access when desired. But at the moment this isn’t even a thing and it’s a real shame. I mean, you can find these things on YouTube and such, but wouldn’t it be great to watch all the original video files in the best quality possible, all categorized and placed conveniently in one location? Not to mention those who are new to Halo and are eager to learn more about the Universe, this would be a great tool in that regard. The Halo Channel was a good attempt at this but ultimately it fell short and also had a bunch of issues such as bad UI bugs and poor streaming capacity. I think it’s a great idea and hopefully this is already in the cards, but what do you all think? Do you agree?
(On a side note, it would be great if they also included cutscenes from the games such as the remastered Halo 2 and both the Halo Wars cinematics, maybe even in 4K? Also does anyone remember the Halo Evolutions animations they did a few years ago, such as Headhunters? I loved those and would love to see them make a return.)
