Hear me out!!!
first off id like to clarify, there aren’t enough Gimmicky weapons in Halo. The last one we had was the Binary Rifle back when it was an instant death laser, the other weapons before that were the focus rifle, sentinel beam, (do you see a pattern here?) the Needle rifle, the sticky detonator…that’s teally all I can think of right now. Everything else we have that used to be Gimmicky is now SUPER DUPER UBER TACTICAL to appeal to the competitive people. While I like the variety Of weapons in warzone I feel like it’s enough.
But what if we got the flame thrower back? Now I don’t mean that bulky unusable one from Halo 3, I mean that sweet death dealer from CE. It would be perfect for clearing out a room of people defending an armory. Ol’ Dragons Breath would be easy to use with little consequence aside form setting yourself on fire by hitting a wall. I would suggest it being a Ultra rare, and maybe another Legendary upgrade or 2.
I actually kind of want the H3 flamer over the CE one…

Im pretty sure it can be made to be like it was in CE, just because it’s big doesn’t make it heavy by definition, I mean look at the size of the binary rifle, it has more mass than the flame thrower plus the thrower isn’t solid parts, it’s mostly tubing and gas canisters. It doesn’t make sense it would be heavy enough to slow you down.
