I say this mostly for myself. I never understood why they showed multiplayer footage in the first place.
I wish they did like CO…(I almost threw up again)and showed campaign first.

Agreed, the number one that I’m buying Halo 4 for, is the campaign, and it’s the one thing that in my mind, if they screw up, I won’t buy the game.

I would really like a campaign trailer, but they better not show any mid-game or late-game footage. It would also be great if they didn’t reveal the “ancient evil”.

5th - 7th of June, as far as when 343i is going to show off Halo 4 in that time span, we don’t know.

Herm… Microsoft conference maybe? There is no way Microsoft would not at least put a trailer or gameplay footage from Halo 4 at their own conference.

As a reader of both Cryptum and Primordium, I strangely feel the same way. The Didact is going to be a major character n the trilogy and for him to be left out of any trailer will be interesting to see. I would assume they will but they’ve painted such a good picture of who he is (Faber as well) that it would be just like the first time we encountered the flood. Still my favorite moment in any Halo game. I hope they do it again. They have enough covenant to fill a trailer with a small tease of something more dangerous to keep that air of mystery like the first game. Then knowing the floor will drop but not knowing when will be very intense.

In the most bad-a## way imaginable. 
I’m sure they will make it pretty epic. Friend or foe? My guess is foe at first, then he will be the new companion once they realize find a common enemy, who my opinion will be Faber going into Halo 5. Dun dun dah…

I disagree…I would like to know what I’m killing most of the game. That like if Bungie kept the Covenant a secret till CE shipped. It wouldn’t be very intelligent…

Bungie did it with the flood, and it worked perfectly. I played HCE for the first time without knowing what was going to happen and it was pretty sweet.

And he’s going to treat the Chief like a chihuahua, then the chief will have to realize he isn’t the biggest dog in the fight. (my guess of course, I have no idea)
Showing the campaign would reveal the enemy we are fighting. Unless 343 just showed us constant clips of MC in the Dawn. Which would be boring…
So if they wanted to show us a campaign trailer it’d probably reveal the enemy. Which I’m putting down on my calender as E3. Nothing before, nothing after.
