So I’ve seen many posts about bugs by the community but I suggest that a Moderator/Admin/Whatever the hell it’s called like Sk3tch to make a post for people to post their bug discoveries so that 343 and Twin Galaxies can easily find them all in one place instead of being scattered everywhere on the forum and sometimes left in the Abyss until someone else find it or create another post.
So what are the benefits of this you might ask?
- Bugs can be fixed faster because they are all in the same place.
- New players can easily report their bug discoveries.
- Simple and effective way to make Community/Develloper better.
Who’s with me for this idea? (And hopefully there wasn’t already a post like that that I’ve not seen.)
Confining all bug reports to a single thread does the opposite of what you think it would, actually makes it harder to keep track of problems. Single threads for large issues are better track down issues relating strictly to those problems (ie. Achievements not unlocking).
Rather than digging through a massive thread looking for reports relating to a single issue, they get their own separate thread where it’s much easier to consolidate reports and find patterns. Not all problems will be handled by the same team.
The pinned threads here have enough detail on how and where users should be reporting their issues. Any major-ish problems that crop up, we will usually direct users to a single thread to save swamping the forums and pushing other support topics out of the way.
