After the release of various first person shooters during the last month, I believe Halo players have moved on to other games since there is nothing new to Halo 5. This is a petition for 343 to make a doble experience weekend. We need something to motivate us to keep playing (besides the Anniversary Throwback) Halo 5. What do you guys think?!
We have all wanted this for a while now. Even halo reach’s max rank had some help with the griffball credit boost after the first year. We will just have to wait and see
Idk, 2xp can’t hurt, but i think H5’s population decline is more a function of the current gaming climate. FPS genre is saturated and there’s a ton of overlap between games. I love h5, but honestly i have time to play xbox maybe an hour a week and I’d rather spend it on cod4 remastered than fighting the -Yoink- servers on an under populated just to find out that I’m rusty, washed up and out matched by the people who can play everyday.

Plus halo reach had the exp jack pot! I loved playing sometimes just becuase the chance to earn the jackpot.

I completely forgot about that. I’ll be honest, I did a hard grind on griffball to reach inheritor before halo 4 came out

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. There are tons of FPS out there with fresh new content that are tons of fun. I really do think that a double XP weekend would help Halo to get back some of its players even if its for a couple of days. And it’ll help us out to get closer to the almost impossible lvl 152.
This has been posted a few times already. On one, if I remember correctly, a monitor also suggested this. I hope it does happen, but I will not hold my breath.
I could use a 2xRP as well.
Or they could give a bonus to all playlists, not just the featured one.
I think we, the dedicated fans, want it. But what would it do for anyone who doesn’t care about SR rank? SR is virtually meaningless in Halo 5 and is there simply to give completionists something to grind for.
Don’t get me wrong, I want a double experience weekend. But I don’t think it’ll draw anyone to the game.

Even if it doesn’t bring in any new people it is just another way to reward the current players.
