We must have more competitive gameplay

Now that I have your attention MLG wannabees.

It appears to me like you all are being brain washed in to believing what is and is not competitive. Sure some games have little things that can annoy you while playing, a good example is Bloom. However the design of bloom is present in the most competitive FPS title of all time, and I think it still holds that title. Some of you may have guessed it, Counter Strike.

Just because in reach it lowered the skill gap a little, does not make it less competitive. If you think about it for a second, it makes it much more competitive.

Just because MLG has the big money tournaments, does not make them the know it alls on competitive gameplay. I have seen many casual games played competitively, which seems strange since some of your most used comments is

“A competitive game can be played casually, but a casual game cannot be played competitively.”

A perfect exampled of an EXTREMELY casual game that I have seen played competitively is Minecraft. Some of my favorite youtube videos are epic minecraft games and guess what they actually have fun win or loose, but they all still try and win.

Competitive: -having a strong desire to compete or to succeed.

As you can see, play to win and you are being competitive.

So in conclusion, could all you “Competitive” players get off your high horse, walk out of that big old barn built by MLG and join the world again and enjoy a game for what it is.

*A word from a community member that can think for him self

I agree with you completely. Also, people on this forum are very selfish. Only like %5 of the Halo Community is a competitive player. Most of the Halo Players I know only play Halo for custom games, Forge or the story. I’d like 343 to focus on the majority of Halo players more than worrying about the competitive players.

I don’t disagree with your post entirely but I think you are forgetting that what the MLG community wants is “balanced” game play as this promotes fairness and can lead to good competition if the community is strong.
