we have disagreed about how good Halo 4 is...

… but can we ALL agree that this whole “emailing spec code” gimmick is the biggest mess we have seen?

From a marketing standpoint doesn’t seem like the most effective way things could have been done. I am not an insider so I don’t know all the details but just reading all the posts and myself still waiting for a code and people stuck at 70, its just a disaster so far. just my thoughts. happy gaming.

Blame Mircosoft not 343i.

Plus, Halo Reach is the biggest mess we’ve ever seen.

I’ve seen and endured worse before.

The waiting doesn’t make it easy but i’ll find ways to pass the time. It’s something Microsoft shouldn’t repeat in the future though. A regular rank style unlock like Bungie did with Reach would be enough IMO.

At least then, everyone knows when the cap will be lifted and you don’t have to do any waiting and starve you’re self of oxygen in front of your monitor/smartphone/whatever.

I’ve seen worse. Like back when Guitar Hero 3 launched on the Wii; all the audio was in mono because of a glitch. People had to mail their discs back to Activision, and they received a patched disc in return. At least you don’t need to stop playing Halo for a month in order to get specializations.

iv just gone back to halo 3 ill come abck to halo 4 for achievments and spartan op and campaigne… but multiplayer can die

IMO it’s always a -Yoinking!- stupid idea to withhold content already on the disc. The LE people already got their I spent more money than you so I’m entitled to more goodies, why punish the rest of the community even further? I disliked the level cap in Reach, but I never thought that 343i would do something even worse.
