This industry is filthy and rotten and on a very bad way. It was about bringing fun and carefully developed Games for decades, but now it is only about DRM, digital distribution madness, maximizing profit and rushing out unfinished products. Nobody really cares about the customers anymore. And why should they? As long as we all are willing to pay a Full Price for unfinished Software on Day One.
We get what we deserve. But I am almost glad about every escalation like this one. We need to learn it the hard way, I think. It is not US who need the Gamesindustry. It is the Gamesindustry who needs US. We can very well do without their unfinished products. They can not live without our money. I really hope this whole thing collapses soon and we come back to the days where we can just put a disk in out consoles and start playing a good and polished game within minutes. THIS crap has to stop.
