Ok. What’s the deal? Nobody asked for an “evolved” breakout which is basically now just slayer. Why? What’s the point? People like breakout for what it is, ahem, sorry…WAS. I try to be patient with 343 but…gosh…it’s getting kind of bad. Why don’t they work on something like Oddball? Nobody WANTS EVOLVED breakout.
And this isn’t the first time.
They did it because the masses dont like it so 343 is trying to salvage their precious game type. Not working since US who dont like it play swat if we want quick kills and those who liked breakout have just been alienated. 343 doesnt know what they’re doing and are just experimenting. Now it’s time for those who like breakout to react. Let them learn only way things can get better.

Well it’s like every new competitive game mode that Bungie and 343I test out. They just don’t pick up steam because it goes against the norm, and sputter and die.
Headhunter, stockpile, regicide, ricochet, breakout, and many others.
If it’s not slayer based, it usually fails. Just look at the history of halo.
Doesn’t matter if the there is a small portion of the fan base that enjoys it. If there are no numbers there to support it like a major game mode, there is no reason to support it like a major game mode.
