So I’ve been playing (attempting too at least) Halo this entire holiday break. It has been a miserable experience. My cousins and I have been non-stop getting kicked out of games. Between the four of us we’ve probably lost 20 different rare or higher RP/XP boosts. Not to mention hours upon hours spent rebooting systems, routers and games just to try and get into lobbys together. 343 has an unacceptable performance between this game and MCC. I truly feel you guys owe your fans yet another apology and at least 3 free gold packs.
Instead of req packs, I’d prefer if another company got to make Halo. It basically can’t get any worse from here, so let’s give someone else a shot.

Servers are some what fixed. If you keep experiencing it, I would probably wait. A lot of the disconnects happened to players yesterday too. I think a statement of what was going on is better instead of a compensation. And a couple of free gold packs LOL

I never had a smoother online Halo experience than with H5. In game that is. I do sometimes fail to see or buy Reqs. Or that my map didn’t save in forge. Stuff like that. But actually playing the game is fluid for me, superfast searchtimes, no lag, etc. Maybe I’m lucky I don’t know.

Outages happen, and to say that we get free -Yoink- because there was one night where the serves were bugged is an entitled attitude. For the MCC I would agree with him because that game STILL doesn’t even work properly. With H5 the game works fine, but errors come up especially with the big storms hitting the US right now.
A “sorry 'bout that” message of the day and a free bronze pack would be a nice gesture.

Pro tip if you notice there are server problems and are losing RP/XP boosts like crazy, then stop using them.

An apology and maybe a silver pack or unique pack would be adequate, since the average player probably one wasted a few boosts and low level req’s at the most.
If you’re whipping out god tier stuff when you know the server is unpredictable…you’re just not being very wise.
No, I would not say that people require compensation. This is nowhere near the MCC fiasco that did ultimately result in 343 providing compensation. Given the way holiday experiences tend to go belly-up I would have expected 343 to be a bit more on it than they have been, but this isn’t a meltdown-level situation. Maybe they’ll give out a free Gold Pack, I think that’d be fine.

Perfect answer. Once in a while if I see live is having issues or reqs are not loading. I do not use my rare reqs or bonus items AT ALL. Or if the issues get too bad, I just play a different game. Live is always iffy around Christmas holidays.
He’s not asking for a refund of the game.
If the power goes out in a laundromat they restart all the machines for free. If we lose boosts from req packs because the servers go down we can’t even hope for some kind of tiny compensation? Multi billion dollar company wins again when you have average folks trying to defend them. Lol.
