I’ve had this idea in my head since I “thought” Halo 3 was the “end” of Halo.
Perhaps 343i will take this into consideration, or better yet, those guys turning Crysis into Halo.
But anyway, somewhat like ODST, we could have Halo veer off the beaten path and have some Halo games from the Covenant POV, especially one that takes place during the Covenant Civil War during Halo 2.
Were it so easy, it could probably happen.
Meh. I’m indifferent to the Covenant point of view. I’d happily play a game like that if it was made but I’d really prefer a game set during the Human-Forerunner war. I’d love to be playing as a human warrior fighting on two fronts, trying to defeat the Flood while being attacked by the Forerunner.
Playing a Halo game from the Covenant’s perspective would be just awesome. I always love seeing their POV in cutscenes from the other Halo games, and playing as the Arbiter in Halo 2 was awesome.
One during the Great Schism would be awesome, however I only see a Covenant POV Halo game that relates to something in Halo 5/6 so it all connects. But just any Halo game with the Covenant’s POV would be awesome.
