I believe the score was around 800 to 350, my team was getting absolutely stomped, not a single boss kill, when Palmer said those words that make every Spartans skin crawl. “It’s not over yet, we can still destroy the enemy core.” No one ever believes her, it’s impossible at this point, but this team was different. She said those words, and this group of rando misfit Spartans pulled together. We had the spire controlled at this point, and two groups, with no communication, went and each took over an armory within seconds of each other like it was nothing. And then we all stormed the enemy core, and we took that -Yoink- out!
So moral of the story: don’t laugh at Palmer for having hope, there’s always hope.
I did this once as well. Our team was losing 350 to 800 or something like that and somehow we captured all the bases. I req’d a fuel rod gun and ran into their base and took out their core and won the game. literally a second or two after I took out the core they got a base back but it was too late for them, haha.

Never give up hope man. Sure 99% of the time you’re still gonna get your -Yoink- kicked and it’ll just end, but there’s always that little sliver of a chance.

That’s awesome! Stories like this make me realize the potential of something like Warzone. More often, we come back from being down a couple hundred and it’s thrilling.
Recently we were down 100 or so and the other team had control of the game until Palmer said the magic words “We win if we kill the Warden” (or something like that). We killed Warden JUST in time
