I didnt create this thread for harping on warzones mythological problems. Instead, I suggest posting about alternatives to the warzone we currently have.
Example? Instead of plastic fruits of maps here we take the original halo wars maps and build them here. Imagine the mayhem! Tons of bases, vehicles at base spawn, the ability to call in 12 tanks and stomp the competition, sounds like a beautiful game to me. Of course on all the maps we loved from halo wars.

hmm… well the wars gulch is still bigger than Arc or stormbreak.
but the 2v2 maps were decent, and the scaling is so much different that it could work.
Well, Halo Wars 2 is coming. Who knows what they’ll do with that. We may get the Halo Wars / Spartan Assault / Spartan Strike hybrid no one knew they wanted until it actually takes shape.
I don’t think Halo was made for super large scale battles. Small maps, small teams, tactics, power weapon control. The screams Halo to me. I thought Invasion was pushing it. Anything larger is just too chaotic with the sandbox.
