It sounds like an article from The Onion, but this is Halo in 2016. Once again, another update that is absolutely WORTHLESS to traditional MM Halo players.
We have begged for more playlists for 7 months, and get more skins/armour/emblems/worthless REQs. I don’t want a neon Warthog that drives fast, I want Team Snipers. I don’t need another awful helmet to never wear, I want Team Doubles. I don’t want my 300th emblem I’ll never use, I want Social Slayer.
How many posts/tweets/threads have been asking for more weapon skins/helmets/armour/warthogs? We have enough CRAP already. At some point start caring about the multiplayer, and not the worthless aesthetics.
Seriously, what the hell? I get it, these were “pre-planned free-DLC” meant to release monthly and keep people interested. It’s an awful strategy that clearly didn’t work too well. Somewhere along the line 343 forgot about the most important part about Halo which is the traditional multiplayer.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go get smashed by a TO4 for a rank that’ll disappear tomorrow. Maybe I’ll get a new emblem if my req points load!

But in all honesty I can’t bring myself to play 5 anymore. I’ve been playing MCC, 4 and reach again because at least there’s a variety of different gametypes I can play. I’m done with Halo 5 if we’re just going to keep getting shafted like this.

Lol, this is pretty good satire if that’s what this is considered.
We need more “for fun” game types. Social slayer would be a welcome addition so I can play an arena game mode without getting sweaty.
Your thread title reminds me of a previous update thread. “We beg for more playlists, get a Pizza AR”.
Anyway, it shows a theme that we’ve been wanting more playlists for months and months and 343 is still not delivering.

That was my thread, from probably 4 months ago and nothing has changed.
This isn’t satire folks, this is the sad reality that Halo has become.
It’s absolutely inexcusable.
Why can’t we just have like an action sack with a mix of crazy game modes

The jig is up. They’re paying this guy minimum wage to crank out jpegs and calling it new content. I’ve NEVER heard one single player as for more weapon skins, armors, or vehicle skins.

Ahh, well that makes sense then. I agree that we need more playlists and 343 slow dripping us playlist content is pretty sad and it’s not helping retain their playerbase.
Yeah, but what can you do…
Currently, 343i has added permanent game modes that were essential in past Halo games in 3/7 updates we were given so far. Battle of Shadow and Light had BTB, Hammer Storm had Grifball and Assault (previously in Team Arena as a permanent gametype before they removed it; it’s just a gametype but still good), and Memories of Reach had Infection. You could count it as 4/8, with WZFF coming in the next update, but 343i could add other permanent game modes as well.

Lol wow this is pretty bad. I mean I already knew 343 was out of touch with the Halo community when they put out Halo 4 2012 but to think that almost 4 years later now they still don’t seem to understand what made Halo great is just satirical. Sometimes I wonder if 343 Industries are just the most professional trolls I’ve ever seen.
Just give these people the variety of gametypes and playlists that we want and the community will do the rest. It’s that simple.

According to one of the December community updates, the most ignored playlists. Goes to show this forum and what WE want isn’t always in line with the rest of the population.
BTW, ‘give us what we want’ makes you sound like a petulant child throwing a tantrum in the toy isle at Walmart. It’s posts like that why 343 largely ignores Waypoint
343 either has completely lost touch with the community and has no idea what its doing, or it knows full well what the community wants and chooses not to deliver for the sake of sticking to their predetermined DLC plan and expend no further effort to actually make a quality game. Either way they have proven to be -Yoink- developers undeserving of the Halo franchise. Either completely restructure the management that has put them on the company’s current course and replace them with competent people or take the Forge team (only good team at 343) and give them and the franchise to another studio. Enough of the -Yoink- 343 and Microsoft.

There’s probably 120 people and a few squirrels playing Breakout but they’re too “proud” to pull that…
They can ignore all they want, they are alienating communities 1 by 1 until eventually there will not be any left.
