I recently got the ODST Recruit shirt from Spreadshirt.com, and I want to try and replicate the training uniform used in the We Are ODST trailer for cosplay. So does anyone know what boots, pants and belt were used for the uniform, or at least something relatively close to what was used? Thanks.
The pants look to me like the kind of exercise/cargo pants you can find at most sporting good stores, and the boots are the generic black military rubber-heel that you can get at an army surplus store. No clue about the belt, I cant get a good look at it with all the lights and the flashing.
I need that shirt now though.
I think it is something similar to this. It’s a traditional military style belt.
The belt in the video they are wearing is for during training specifically. It is called a “web” belt in the Marine Corps. We wear these before we go through MCMAP training and have earned our first belt which is the tan belt. The Web belt they are wearing is specifically a Army black web belt with black strap. Although since it shines in the video I believe it’s a unglossed chrome belt buckle and black belt. I don’t know why they chose the armies version specifically since ODST’s are all former Marines but I digress. Plus it used to be a general all purpose military belt anyways for all branches. But their you have it. Just look up black army web belt and you should be able to buy one. I’ll put a picture in this description so you may all see what it should look like.
