WE are all jumping to conclusions

We are ALL (Competitive and casual alike)to way too many conclusions WAY too fast. We have seen what? 10 , MAYBE 15 seconds of multiplayer gameplay and heard a few different things that the 343i has said they will add. And what are we doing? We are throwing a fit thinking, OH NO! HALO 4 IS RUINED FOREVER! The game still has MONTHS to go before it is released. And if you want to think it is ruined already, by all means GO FOR IT! And if by the time the game releases and you buy you believe the game has indeed been ruined, then stop playing Halo or play Halo 3 for all I care. But please don’t stick around to complain that 343i isn’t respecting ALL of their fans.

Because you obviously are not a fan if you do not enjoy the franchise.

*On a side note: This is 343i’s first game that they have made in the Halo franchise. There are going to be flaws because they don’t have the same vision as Bungie. Respect that.

These people will never be satisfied, something will always be wrong.

> These people will never be satisfied, something will always be wrong.

Agreed.

I second that

I am bumping this up. Why because the idiotic halo fans that are arguing are, well, idiotic and need to hear this.

Us ‘idiotic’ fan’s have genuine concerns, fair enough some people are taking it too far but what’s wrong with debating what we have seen so far?

Ultimately we are entitled to our opinions and so on these forums we may express them in any manner we see fit.

> I am bumping this up. Why because the idiotic halo fans that are arguing are, well, idiotic and need to hear this.

No they do not. You have no right to settle which person needs to read this or not. If you hate their ridiculous threads, don’t post or even look at them. If you do that, all those posts will die.

Instead you’re feeding them by spamming the Halo 4 forums with this crap, where is the relevant threads are dying.

Also bumping is against the rules…

Have a nice day!

I hate to break it to you guys, but this is how every Halo game goes since Halo 2. As soon as something gets shown of the next game. people jump to conclusions, make up things, and say things that they hate without actually knowing about it. It will be like this for the next 6-8 months. Then after it releases, for roughly 3 years people will whine about what is in the game and say that the creators hate them and are terrible.

Welcome to Halo.

> These people will never be satisfied, something will always be wrong.

Actually everyone would be satisfied if they made it like Halo 2 without the glitches and flaws.

Anyway, the people who are complaining are the fans that are concerned at where the franchise is going, we are trying to make sure it doesn’t turn into these Modern FPS like CoD or BF. The people who are backing up 343i are the kiss -Yoink- fanboys, who don’t care where the franchise is led and the people who would jump off a cliff if 343 asked them to.

It’s kind of annoying that you people keep saying these people won’t be satisfied. As if it’s always the same people that aren’t satisfied. A lot of these people were completely satisfied with the original trilogy. It’s just reach and now Halo 4 that have people upset with the general direction of the series.

> > These people will never be satisfied, something will always be wrong.

Like with every game ever made, someone thinks something in it is wrong. People are over speculating on halo 4 and need to wait until they play a beta (if one ever comes out) till they start complaining.

Wow, that’s a poorly made generalization. As for the first statement, most people would like to see advancements in the Franchise, and NOT another Halo 2. Most people want something new that pays well. Stop bashing people who have a different opinions. Maybe someone does like what 343 is doing but also cares where the game is headed. Maybe they aren’t your “kissass” that doesn’t care where the franchise is going.

If you’re going to say that, if you like the direction that Halo 4 is heading in, you’re not a real Halo fan.

Tip: Just because it has ‘Halo’ in the name doesn’t mean it has Halo gameplay.

Another bad generalization, just because someone’s perspective doesn’t agree with yours, it does not mean they are a bad or not a real halo fan. Just where is 343 “headed” that you don’t like? And please, give me another example besides sprint. I read enough whining about that on the forums.

Alot of the people working for 343 have a history with Bungie and Halo. It’s not like it’s abunch of new people doing it. It’s people that have been fans since day 1, people who have worked on the games, and Frank who is really interested in the Halo universe and wants to make sure it lives on.

What does that above highlighted section have anything to do with your post? People complaining are obviously fans of the series and are giving their opinion on what they would/wouldn’t like to see. They enjoy the franchise and want to continue enjoying it.

You’re being a jerk and you aren’t any better bashing the fan base. To me people that have concern are some of the bigger fans. Complaining and pleading for things to change or not to change is what makes the Halo community the Halo community. It’s been going on since Halo CE. A real fan would know something like that. If 343 gave us a single screenshot we would speculate/argue/complain about it for 3 weeks straight. The people that complain that they don’t like what they see are no better or worse than the people that praise what they see. These forums are here for discussion and the fanbase is going to let 343 know what they see fit to ensure the best possible Halo game.

It’s also important to note that this thread right here is beyond unoriginal. To me it seems that for every thread made about how 343 is messing things up their are 3 threads telling people to chill out. What do you think is more beneficial to the game? A post about why a community member thinks that perks may not be such a hot idea or why sprint ruins map flow OR a thread complaining about people complaining?

Not a generalization. Not even going to read your post.

So gameplay alone is Halo? I disagree. Halo is ALSO about the campaign, Master Chief, now firefight, Forge, Theater, and so on.

While Multiplayer is one of the biggest aspects of the game, it’s NOT the only one. Halo has grown to be more than that. Many people are happy for that as it means the franchise will not become stagnant.

I personally do not want a rehash of one of the earlier games. I want to see it continue to develop with fun new features. By fun, I mean just that. Can be competitive or casual. The point is they have to be fun to play. If you’re NOT having fun playing Halo for whatever reason (competitive or casual and all points between) then you don’t play, or worse, you become a CockODoody fan.

If they would have given me Anniversary with MP, it would have been the second best game in this franchise to date.

Did you enjoy CE, OP? Did you enjoy the simplistic gameplay that CE brought? Did you enjoy CE fantastic campaign? Did you really? Did you think that something was missing from it? Or did you just start off with H2, H3 or Reach?

If they can’t handle Halo, then don’t butcher it.
