Yeah, hopefully. I’m not expecting a reach sad story (Music as well).

I want to see him pushed to his limits. I want him to get tired, angry, lost and sometimes desperate. Yes he is a badass Spartan. But he’s still human and we should be reminded he is human and he has his limits like everyone else.

I just dont think ‘crazy’ is the right word. Hes a spartan, he knows what hes doing.

Also maybe a little conflicted about his mission. In the games so far it was always clear cut what the right and wrong thing to do was. In the book The Fall of Reach he had a moment during the invasion of the rebels, like he wasn’t really sure.

“He knew he should feel elated–but instead he just felt tired. Something didn’t sit right about the operation. He wondered about all the dead dockworkers and civilians back there. None of them were designated targets. And yet, weren’t they all rebels on that asteroid?”–The Fall of Reach Chapter 10 page 94
I know some may not appreciate Master Chief developing some kind of conflict regarding ethics, but I for one would like to see a real complex development in his character like that.
