Ways to stop the damn cheaters in warzone:assault

Ok everyone’s seen this by now and I’m sick of losing (or sometimes winning games that should have been lost) because of this exploit where the armoury can be capped by getting the marines to kill themselves and cap so I’ve been experimenting on ways to prevent it. Simplest way is to camp the armoury, if you sit inside it stops the cap as it would with any other base, but makes for a boring game, after all I enjoy playing assault, not sitting in the armoury playing with myself while the blue team sit outside rage. One thing that helps is that you can access the req station in side the armory, so you can just spawn an overshield or shotgun or camo or whatever and pop outside to mess up the cowardly little cheaters. My main problem though is I still don’t want to have to camp in the armoury for potentially the entire game and it’s not always possible to keep an eye on armoury from initial spawn, so often the first thing we know is when palmer announces the armoury us almost lost when it’s too late and we know we are being forced to the core. Now this other thing I havn’t tried yet but will be experimenting with when I finish work today is spawning a warthog or two and physically blocking the inside of the shield so the marines can’t hit the shield, finally another use for scout hogs. I’ll post the results in about 10-11 hours.

Using the vehicles might be a great idea if you can get them fast enough and hope the marines don’t manage to blow them up. You’d also have to make sure the blue team can’t enter the vehicle through the barrier because you placed it too close (if that’s even possible).

wont work dude unfortunately. the vehicles will either A. de-spawn. or B. a stupid teammate will just take the Vehicle and try and splatter people.

Yea I have seen that happen before during a particularly sloppy attempt we made to prevent the premature cap, maybe it’d be posible to hem the marines in the centre of the base so they can’t aggro the blues. Also does anyone know if undestroyed vehicles despawn if unused for ages?

Do you know how long the despawn timer is? And hopefully not often since most players will be preoccupied killing opfor at first base

Here’s how I like to stop them. Caught This little -Yoink- earlier today.

(I know this isn’t the best solution, but it’s what’s been working for me. )

Ya not long enough to last the match. i watched a Gauss warthog Despawn 30 secs after i died. and that was when i was shot out of it.

All they need is to deactivate the middle base until the first one has fallen.

Best thing to do would be keep and eye here and there. Maybe get to REQ 5 so you have a slew of weapons at your disposal?
