The REQ system in Halo 5 is a great idea IMO, however I do believe there are many ways it can be improved. First get rid of buying packs, instead allow people to buy points (ex. Instead of 2.99 (or whatever the cost) for gold packs pay that much for REQ points) This way it can be possible to take out all cosmetics and allow them to be purchased separately, much like Reach’s system of buying stuff. I do however think that Warzone items should be kept in packs only.

Removing it entirely is a splendid option.
They just need to take the customization items out of the req packs and let you purchase specific customization items with RP.

One thing you could do is make it so that you need to have the default of an armour before you can obtain the skins for it. Then you give unlock requirements for the default; SR, Achievement, Commendation or even CSR.
Maybe the abiltiy to tip the scales, so if you want armour and mostly play arena, you can tip the scales in your favour to recieve more helmets/armour.

if your only playing Arena you could just sell all the Warzone REQs back for more points. but if you mean like certs and stuff then that could work.

That’s probably the best solution for the players who just want cosmetics as ling as Microsoft insists on having the req system, but then less people would be inclined to buy packs, and we can’t have that, can we?
Give us a sell all button.
Give us a custom loadout option so we can have our own specific loadouts in the REQ menu instead of all of them.
