For the past few days H5 has been almost unplayable for me due to delay in my gameplay. For example, grenades throwing a couple seconds after I press the button, and shots not registering.
As you can imagine this is quite irritating, so I’m curious if anyone has any solutions to improving connection to the game? And before you say get better internet, I have good internet.
About all you can do is use a wired connection to your modem/router if you can and do a hard reset of your Xbox before playing H5 or even MCC. Also some say making sure you have an open NAT as well.

there has been a server issues lately, maybe thats why u have such a bad gaming experience

That’s what I thought at first, but a couple people I talked to said the game has been fine for them.

Weird, because I have some server issues lately.
I found the link to the official SERVER REPORTS: LATENCY, DISCONNECTS, ETC in case u want to submit this issue (i dont want u to suffer this poor gaming experience)

I use the hotspot on my phone. I live out in the middle of nowhere. It’s not possible for me to use our wifi for online play. I noticed when I’m online and try to go on social media sites or YouTube, the connection slows down. It all depends on your service too. There way a big lag issue the last couple months.

Alright thanks! It feels like they’ve just given up on fixing halo 5 though. Seems like they’re doing the bare minimum to keep it going.
The region you live in can affect it too. I’ve read posts about people outside the US experiencing latency. This is common for other games too.
Nine times out of ten when this happens to me it is because I am getting high latency and packet loss not because of the servers.
Settings>network settings>detailed network statistics will give you ping, upload, download, and packet stats.
