Waypoint vnext android Update* Resolved

Has anyone been able to download the waypoint vnext app for iOS or Android? I don’t see the join beta option on the google play store halo channel app page. And I’m using the link from the support website.

I had filed a Support ticket as Mr mad chief said, and had done these steps that bakastep has listed down below earlier in the morning after the support twitter posted/and emailed me.

I am also wondering about this, after clicking on the link thats supposed to have the option to download the beta, the option is not there. I have followed the instructions exactly as well.

Nothing for me yet either. If it was there I’m sure it would be crawling like the rest of their assets at the moment. Just need to be chill and wait it out.

I have submitted a ticket at the Halo support site about this, I suggest you all do so as well if you are still experiencing this issue, that way 343 will know how widespread it is and hopefully figure out what’s wrong.

343 has resolved this issue fyi, I had to clear the cache for the google play store first as directed in the instructions though.

Where is this on iOS is it only available in US store?

To get the app to work on later models of android do the following:

  • Clear google play store cache - Navigate to Halo Channel on the play store (ensure that you are on the main page where reviews are displayed) - Scroll to the bottom - You should see an option to join the beta, select that. - Clear google play store cache again after you see the notification “joining beta”. - Restart google play store app - Navigate to Hallo Channel again - You should see “Halo Channel (Beta)” - Install Halo Channel appNote: On step 5 be sure to wait a few minutes before proceeding as you may not need to do steps 5 to 7.

You should be redirected to the applestore beta test app. You need that first before downloading the waypoint beta.

I have on android.
Download hallo channel and enable the beta, wait 30 min, update…
And now you got the app waypoin beta
