Recently the forum team has been making dedicated mega threads for popular discussions, this seems a good idea to collect them all in one place, however with such a large number of replies it’s impossible to actually get anything useful without searching through hundreds of pages. so here are some suggested improvements to make mega topics work.
- Instead of putting them in the halo 5 section make a new section, for example with firefight feedback you make a new section and have multiple threads for main topics so it’d have a thread for ;defend the garage, enemy difficulty, boss variety, req usage to reward ratio, broken stats, etc… This means that people can discuss these topics without other topics overlapping them.
2.long posts taking up the whole screen once being quoted. Long threads are usually the most helpful because someone has taken time to write it, however once people reply , what is already a 2 page long topic becomes almost half of the whole thread, when people quote it should automatically minimise long paragraphs so they don’t clutter.

More forum team presence, replies from the actual forum team and 343 are very uncommon and the community would definitely feel more involved if big issues and ideas are acknowledged more often.

Active removal of spam or unconstructive posts, mega threads are crowded enough without people quoting ideas to simply put “I agree” a like on the post should suffice and any comments like this need quickly minimising, obviously extra staff need to be appointed to monitor during these new threads .
