Waypoint stats messed up recently. Any fix at all?

A couple days ago, this thread was posted on the Halo subreddit:

  • https://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/3p5uvh/halo_the_master_chief_collection_achievements/With many people (including me) noting that many achievements in the MCC had been unlocked at the same time that hadn’t been close to unlocking. It gave me a lot of the game completions/game wins/player kills achievements (specifically Can’t Get Enough, Big Time Gamer, Long Time Fan, Forged in Fire, Sharpshooter, Up All Night, Committed, The Long Haul, Thanks A Killion, Double Trouble, Medal Master Chief, and The Good, The Bad, and The Dead).

At the same time, I checked my Waypoint stats and noticed that they were way off from where they were the last time I checked them the day before. There’s no way of seeing how they were before, but the changes were similar to this Waypoint user’s post:

Has anyone else experienced this recently? I wonder if it has something to do with the recent patch and the game history and skill ranks sections that have popped up on Waypoint for MCC recently. (And the game history doesn’t look right either, or out of date, as the most recent Slayer games listed are from the 5th, when I was playing on the 16th)

Anyways, this bothers me quite a bit as the stats and achievements were an excellent way to track my progress, and now they’re meaningless. Is there any way to get these reset to their proper state by opening the game or something? I haven’t played it at all (or turned on my Xbox for that matter) since these issues cropped up.

Bump.

Bump.

Similar issue:

I checked my stats a few days ago and found some campaign missions listed as not completed. Specifically one I tried to fix yesterday was H3 Floodgate. Ran through the mission on normal mode and completed it. When I checked Waypoint stats this morning it still shows Floodgate as not completed.

Yes, as far as I know, campaign missions not showing as completed on Waypoint has been a long-standing issue with the game. Normally another run-through of the level will fix it (I’m not sure if having some of the ‘fun’ skulls on messes with this or not, such as Bandanna, the Scarab skull, etc.).

However this stat issue is a relatively recent one, and I’m not alone in experiencing it. I looked last night and it looks like they’re messed up in game now too, unfortunately… The game also doesn’t appear to track campaign playlists completed, as it is showing as 0 for me, when it should be 4 (and it shows 39 on Waypoint for whatever reason).

Seeing as how I and others haven’t gotten an answer on this in a week’s worth of time, I’m assuming they either don’t care or can’t retroactively fix it. I just hope Halo 5 doesn’t have the same issues, especially with the competitive, stat-focused angle they’re pushing.

All my runs were “Normal” difficulty with no skulls turned on. I ran through FLOODGATE a fourth time and finally received the individual and campaign achievements.
