Just a bug I’ve been experiencing for quite some time. The in depth service record for Halo 4 does not work for me in my Firefox browser. It works in Internet Explorer, however. What happens is I’ll load the stats page for my stats in Firefox and it will show me the first page (my spartan and number of games completed, etc.), but I can not click on any of the menus. It’s like my browser just recognizes the entire page as a movie. Any ideas on how to fix this? Or is this a website bug? It’s REALLY annoying and inconvenient to have to switch to IE just to check my stats.
I use firefox and have no problems using the stats app…
Some addons or lack of certain plugins might be messing with the app.
Any idea on what could be causing it specifically? My Flash player and Shockwave player are up to date. The Silverlight plug-in is also up to date. I honestly have no idea what’s the matter with it. It literally will not let me click on anything on the page.
Ok well I’ve narrowed it down to some type of problem with RealPlayer. I’ve been disabling some of the plug-ins, and when I disable some of the RealPlayer ones, it gives me an error on the page that says “This Plug-In is Disabled”. I don’t know what to do about it though, because if I enable them, the page just won’t let me click anything again. Ugggghhh this is frustrating.
EDIT: Hmm. Maybe it’s not RealPlayer causing the issue? I just used the “restart Firefox with Add-ons disabled” feature, and the page worked as it should. But when I disabled all of my plug-ins manually, it wouldn’t work again…
Aha! Problem solved! It was an extension causing the problem, not a plug-in. It was an extension of RealPlayer, though. So I guess I was right the first time. Got it working though!
Glad to hear you got it sorted! Thank you for posting your troubleshooting information, as well.
