I think everyone knows the HaloWars news by now and i come today with a favor to ask.
As you are aware you, as waypoint, have requested that the members of HaloWars.com come and have their discussions here at waypoint post-shutdown of Halowars.com. As you have noticed not to many of us have taken this as well as others. Some members have taken it upon themselves to visit waypoint and have a trolling session, whereas this is clearly unacceptable others amongst us have honored your request and have been peaceful and have started to contribute to your community. We will continue to honor this request respectfully as in return we would hope you would honor a request that our members posed to yourselves.
So, even thought we value your invite to join your community we also, as human beings, value our own privacy. So thus is why we have decided as well as respecting your invitation we wish to create a forum of our own which we are in the process of creating.
Now as you will be aware people can not be in 2 places at once. That is why today i come here to you will a humble request, which is that if you could please spare a member of your staff team or several to join our new community to be embraced and welcomed as fellow members.
Whilst these volunteers may not have moderation right on our community, we hope that they could become the perfect link between us and yourselves to help keep improving the Halo Wars gaming experience as we will be able to talk to you about what we believe could be placed into the next title update for example or just to make some great new friends.
Don’t worry, we will still honor your invite to post at the Halo Waypoint forums and be a part of your community just as much as our own.
We gratefully appreciate you patience whilst reading this post and we hope you accept our humble request.
I would be honored to be a member of your forum, if you’ll have me of course. As you mentioned, it’s difficult being in multiple places so I wouldn’t be able to post quite as frequently as the rest of you, but I’d love to stay involved. Please just let me know where I need to go and what I need to do to become a member.

Just so you know, the ratio of girls to guys on Halo Wars is roughly 0:5000.
There was 3 girls in the history of this game to be top 100 in something though. =)

Whilst this is great news to hear, whilst I can not speak on behalf of the whole halowars.com community I believe they will share my appreciation towards your willingness.

Hmm…mine seems to update fine…although we are still in beta, so yeah.
Telligent is a company that develops versatile community platforms. I believe the page titles show “Telligent” because Waypoint is developing their forum off of that platform. You can probably assume that the page title will be fixed once we get out of beta.
Halowars.com is going bye bye on December 15th. That means everything related to the site is going bye bye, including the stat tracker. LazyFrog (an old top HW player) decided to reactivate his site and is working on it as we speak. His goal is to make it the new unofficial site for all things Halo Wars.
i dont get the point of asking mods to come to lazyfrog.us, they wont be able to do anything there except give us their opinion. if we need it and have some questions then we can just post it here.
i guess they can be there just to see what we generally want for the game, but most of the threads are not gonna be very… productive. its also not like after this anything good is gonna happen for halowars (boosters wont be removed and no TU will happen)
edit: wait what ever happened to my ‘halo wars avatar’ i pm’d coco like 5 days ago and i dont even think he has read it… oh well it is not a big deal
