Waypoint Matchmaking/Feedback Forum & Bring Polls

I think it was a good idea to house all the classic halo games into one forum, called “Classic Halo Games.”

I think another good idea would be to get rid of the underutilized "Matchmaking & Feedback Discussion."
All other forums function quite well for Feedback discussion already. I also vote to return back Organized polls. Imo, there is never a good enough reason to get rid of them.

Though, I notice that Waypoint Team is only capable of doing Polls currently. So either we should be allowed to too, or even better, the Waypoint Team should include the hot topics that are widely debated from us ourselves. As long as it’s appropriate.

For Ex: What weapon(s) need the most Tuning in the Beta?

there is no point of getting rid of “Matchmaking & Feedback discussion”

now the mcc sub-forum is being heavily used and a lot of threads are going unnoticed. its not the most heavily used sub forum but its manageable making it simple to help and discuss current matchmaking there, so i don’t see the point of removing it.

The Matchmaking forum used to be locked down on the old forums and there were specific threads for each gametype. it was primarily for Halo 4 when it was the latest game out. Since the new forums came in, the permissions seems to have been revoked and it’s become a free for all. I’d like to see the old structure return and have designated threads for gametypes again - they could even be denoted by what halo game they are for. Getting people to post in the right place is a lot harder than it should be :confused:

People can post matchmaking feedback in MCC forum, MCC support Forum, and in Classic Halo’s technically.

People are also posting feedback in Guardians Forum, Guardians Support Forum, and even in MCC sometimes.

I think threads are being spread thin, and discussions will be confronted quickly and supported better without M&FD.

Though, I can see the concern of those M&FD threads possibly filling up the other forums. Also, pinning a popular reoccurring thread can help lessen duplicates

@Stckrboy
I agree, that it is much harder to get people to go to where they are supposed to post. I myself don’t go into M&FD, but the last times I have gone there was when they did have dedicated Feedback threads for gamtypes and such like you’ve said. I don’t waste time at the free-for-all feeling that is there now.

having a specific sub forum where matchmaking and feedback can be discussed is a good, you’re not discussing anything in the support forums you are asking questions or want issues resolved or giving solutions like you are doing now. i find it good having that sub forum for netcode talk since thats an important aspect of halo.
