Why does waypoint have random instances of lag? I loaded in to a thread in one second, then when I tried to quote someone it took around 2 minutes. I know its not me because I can load any other site in seconds almost all the time. This happens quite often on waypoint. Pleas fix it.
I’m pretty sure the forum team is aware of the issue, and are working on fixing it. It’s difficult when you’re working with software that hasn’t been around for too long (~2010)

The bungie.net forums are custom made and work fine. 343 doesn’t even have to worry about managing their own custom forum layout.
The lag on here is ridiculously terrible. It will sometimes take me legitimately 2 to 3 minutes to load a page after I submit a post while BNet takes 2 to 5 seconds max.
These forums have always been slow, laggy and have extremely tedious in my experiences. I’m sure the 343i are aware. Maybe they’re working on something new for Halo 4 for the site/forums? Maybe they’re going to be totally improving the forums? Who knows?
