Now it automatically logs you out when you leave the site, but if you are saying that it logs you out when you try to open a new tab, then it’s a bug.
No, Say I open the Halo 4 forum, I’ll be not signed in, so I sign in. Upon signing in I,ll be directed to an access denied error page and then redirected to the main forum page where I can see I am now signed in. From there I will, say, click on the halo 4 forum again and POOF once the page loads I’ll be signed out again.

it happens only on my windows phone. Yet if I go to a page, sign in, then, once the access denied page comes up, double backspace back to the original page and refresh I Will be on the original page but signed in. From there I can create a topic or reply to one (as long as I do not have to change page to do so) but after it is posted I am singed out again.
Oh and on Opera mobile for Android ICS waypoint forums will literally lick up the tab function and soon crash the whole browser.
