Just recently I’ve started having a problem in Chrome and Firefox.
On http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/ there are many buttons that I cannot click in Chrome. The News, Halo 4 Intel, Universe, Community, Store and Career buttons. I hover over most of them and they don’t change or respond.
However, I can navigate the forums alright, and the button at the top that leads to the Waypoint web app works. These buttons all work as they should in Firefox.
I also have issues on https://app.halowaypoint.com/en-us/#Halo4/Wasoha/home/
I cannot click anything on the page. I can hover over buttons and they will highlight. When I click them they flash, but nothing happens. I am stuck on the main screen and cannot navigate. Chrome and Firefox both share this issue. Internet Explorer works fine.
I am using the latest version of Chrome and Firefox 14. I already tried disabling all extensions but it had no effect. I completely uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled and it makes no difference.
Anyone know why I can only properly use the Waypoint web app in Internet Explorer? I was able to use the web app just fine in Chrome early last week.
yep dw man me too , i got chrome been spamming clicks to no avail . I just use the iPhone version for the time being to check stats , hope they get a fix on this soon . . .
Chrome gotta mind of its own, Mine never likes to load youtube links,
For example if someone’s shared something over on Twitter, I click, Then i get a blank page but i hear audio, yeah grrreeeeat. lol

I don’t share those problems. You should reinstall Chrome.

You are correct! I had my Wacom tablet plugged in. Unplugging it had no immediate effect, but after unplugging it and then restarting my computer, the Waypoint site now functions normally in Chrome.
you ought to look into FF as well. Forcing people to disable addons is a bit uncalled for. Never have I seen a site so frought with issues with other browsers.
I do apologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately there is nothing that we can do. The Chrome add-ins that break the app are literally injecting themselves into the page, and then crashing themselves. That brings down anything running in that page, including our app.
how many times do I have to make it clear, I don’t USE CHROME. Firefox is NOT chrome. And Other sites seem to have no issue working around Firefox addon conflictions, what’s so hard about that here?
Thanks for all of the detail. We believe that we have isolated the issue for both Chrome and FF, and we have a fix in the works. I’ll let you know when it’s out.
Apologies for the confusion - the fix that I am referring to is specifically for people that are using Chrome on a touch PC, but also are using a mouse in the Halo 4 Stats app. Mouse clicks should now work.

Your crash is unrelated to this thread’s topic, but I am happy to help regardless - it is related to add-ins that you have installed in your browser unfortunately. We’ll look into seeing what we can do to make the app more resilient against code that is injected into our process - however, if it is misbehaving, there is little that we can do here.

I am having issues with my stats not showing up. They were there yesterday, but they are not today. The fields just report “Data Not Received.” What’s up with that?
