I’ve always been curious about this question. Did 343 industries create halo waypoint after bungie left because I don’t remember waypoint being a thing when bungie had halo.

When Bungie had halo, we used bungie.net. The same way Destiny fans use it now.

Halo Waypoint was created in 2009. For the release of Halo 3: ODST. ODST was created during/after Bungie was Spliting from Microsoft. So that answers the main question.

While the website existed as small official Halo Site. The forums here didnt exist till late 2010. After Halo Reach was released.

I miss the older days. Now, my Halo Reach Spartan isn’t updated to what it is right now. It shows my Spartan from one year ago.

Halo Reach Spartans stopped updating ages ago. So sad to say they wont update.

Stats though will update.
