so at some random time when I get on halo waypoint I am greeted by this front page. its not like its going to affect me or anything its just kind of weird why this would happen. in fact when this happens its always this front page. anyone know why this is happening?
Yea this is what I see as well, I thought I was the only one having the problem, apparently others are as well…
Halo Waypoint is experiencing issues this evening, on web, mobile, and console. We’re working on it as we speak, but you can attribute any and all weirdness to that.

I’ve also noticed the last few times I have clicked on my profile in a thread and selected “View all posts” - I’ve been taken to a blank waypoint page that says I don’t have permission to view it. Another part of the issues that are going on?

That’s been like that since June, the View all posts button is linked to the Search function, which was disabled in June.

They were disabled to ensure the forum could stay stable just after E3.
The search function, forum online status pins, X number of users online in past five minutes and five most recent posts have been disabled since then.
Recently, custom avatars broke as well 
They likely have plans to re-introduce all of the feature in the update for Halo 4.
