Is this only for me? Every time I go on Waypoint for 360 ever since the update, after 1 minute, it crashes and gives me the error message saying that “the halo waypoint server is not available at this time”.
My internet connection is just fine, so is Waypoint’s server just crashing because the new update isn’t up to the task, and needs to be tweaked? I hope it gets fixed soon, because I can’t even watch the RvB maxi series passed the opening credits.

It is not just you other have had similar issues. I am sure they are working on fixing it. I imagine it would be soon.
Been having the same problem. For the mean time it looks like all the updates can be checked here on the site at least. Hopefully they fix this soon, it’s really annoying.
Yes i’ve been getting the same problems with Xbox 360 & WP7 both report errors connecting to the server. Sometimes its fine then the next time completely broken, tbh I did expect to see some downtime with these updates.
However It would be really helpful if we had an Official 343i Thread (not the bugs one) explaining that they are experiencing Network Issues and these services are effected. Because quite a few threads since Monday have been about this very subject, but no official response can be found, or not very easily.
I also follow the Waypoint Twitter Account @HaloWaypoint and they never mention the current connections issues either.

Different happened to me, I tried yesterday for the seventh time to download the new version of Waypoint and could not. I deleted the old version of Waypoint, cleaned the system cache and nothing worked, I use the Live Brazil.

I have the same problem as above.
When the new Waypoint became available I tried to download it and it went to 99% and stoped. After few hours it said caanot download.
I tried deleting the old waypoint, clearing system cache, downloading from the console and from xbox.com. Nothing helps. Everytime it goes to 99% and stops.
My region is Xbox Live Poland.

Im using a 2 - 5MB connection and my update finishes in seconds and the new update is working beautifully.

Hello! While I was getting disconnected a lot, I did try to put down the Terminal Codes and it took absolutely ages for me to find out which was which! But I managed to get the first code! And as soon as I got it, I get disconnected. I was looking forward to the rest of the Terminals. o__0
this has happened to me on both the updated version and the old one.

I had similar problems. First with the download, then the restart so I dowmloeded it a few times before it would take. Now it crashes after about a minute or two with error messages.

Your issue is in relation to the Waypoint downtime mentioned on the Waypoint homepage, it’s not an error, just maintenance.
ya me to it only lets me stay on waypoint for about two and ahalf miniutes :[

Was just about to post this. Yep, they’re working on the site, most likely the Xbox and WP7 versions first, and then the main site. Give it a day, and it’ll be as good as new.
