Waypoint Console 'App' vs. Halo 4 In-Game App

Greetings All,

I came across an interesting issue when trying to access Waypoint through the main screen of Halo 4. Basically, the screen went black and my console locked up. I’ve repeated this and confirmed it’s consistant. This doesn’t happen when I access the Halo Waypoint app through My Games.

Here’s how I installed Halo 4.

  1. Updated Halo Waypoint App.
  2. Installed Disc 2 to Harddrive.
  3. Installed Disc 1 to Hardrive.
  4. Launched Halo 4, accepted Update.
  5. Played around with Spartan colours, etc.
  6. Tried to launch Halo Waypoint from within Halo 4 main menu screen.

Obviously, this isn’t a show stopper, but I think a patch is in order as there may be a conflict with the version of Waypoint that shipped with Halo 4 LE (older version) versus the Waypoint ‘app’ on my console that I updated several days ago.
