I just set up my way point, and a random account that I do not own has been connected to it, rather than my xbox live account.
If you click on your profile icon in the top right the very last option should be “Sign Out”. That should allow you to sign back in with the correct account. Your Waypoint account is directly tied to your Microsoft account so whatever Microsoft account is logged onto your computer will be the one you sign into Waypoint with.
