I missed being able to discuss Reach in a forum without having to deal with haters cough bungie.net cough.

I am glad you like it here but may I suggest you leave out the Bungie part. Nothing is all good nor is everything all bad.

You do realize that most people from this site came from Bungie.net right?
I liked Bungie.net a tad bit better than here since on B.net you could have Private Groups which were cool.

It’s just that the Reach forum wasn’t an easy place to have a nice conversation in and this is.

Any-who, Waypoint may have a local community of its own, but Waypoint, for a lack of a better term IS Halo.
Now by that, I mean this is a nexus site dedicated to bringing every Halo community together. Somethings, the community run sites will do much better than here. Other things you can only get here. But always it is about welcoming every aspect of Halo.
Heated and passionate discussions are encouraged. Trolling and insulting is greatly punished.

Not trying to hate on Bungie…(Gotta love them for the Halos. The only thing that happened wrong with their forums was after reach was officiallly handed to 343i. Bungie didn’t quite keep the forums “clean”. I’m from Bungie loved it there and now love it here. It’s like moving houses. You don’t wanna leave but once you realize what the new house has. The old one wasn’t bad. But the new one is cleaner.
We’re awesome. Bungie’s awesome. However, we’re more awesome.
They’re two different communities, and many members here, including myself, belong to both of them. My home has been at Bungie since 2006, however after I migrated a little of a year ago, I’m much, much more satisfied over here. I think you will be too.

Nah. I’m not going to drink too much, and the place we’re going to is a block from my house.
