The Waypoint Challenge section has finally started working but it has just one set weekly challenge. I was under the impression that the Waypoint section would show Custom Challenges?
What exactly are the Waypoint Challenges and how do they differ from regular weekly challenges?

From my understanding it’s just a bonus challenge that comes around every once in a while. No different than other challenges.
What the -Yoink- is the point then? Why not just add it into another weekly challenge? 343 doesn’t make sense with anything they do.
Its a mystery, my guess if something to coincide with holidays and such. Thats my guess at least
