Waypoint Bugs Compilation

I’ve seen many threads started for various issues with the November refresh, how about we keep them together until we hear official words.

Known bugs:

    • I cannot access my “Career Overview”, I get a server error:

Refresh the page, my good man. I’m not having these issues at all on my Chrome browser.

  1. Press CTRL + F5 to fix the dodgy forums.
  2. A temporary solution to the white hyperlink is to manually colour them to Dark Red, that way, after they are clicked, you can still see them.

Yeah, the other ones I can’t provide solutions to sadly, I’m not that good. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think they’ll prefer to keep November bugs exclusive.

Thanks so much for this! It would also be helpful if you included what screen you’re utilizing when experiencing the bug. I.E. console, mobile, or web.

I don’t know if it’s a bug or not, but the pages for my Stats/Service Record/Career Overview all take a REALLY long time to load. My connection isn’t laggy at the moment. I’m also having difficulty accessing the Account Settings page.

Using the web version on IE9.

in service record “all medals”, arena medals take over “all” . i have 2 triple kill in arena, but i have almost 29000 in total. its funny to see 29 double kills, 2 triple, and then 10200 overkills…

EDIT: not only arena take over “all” others too. they dont stack / using web

Has anyone tried creating a custom challenge with an insanely high amount of wins or kills, etc… If I put anything more than 4 digits it freezes and I can’t backspace.

I only have v1.1, is there a new version of the WP7 app yet?

Guys they just migrated the whole thing over to the new software, and its still not finished. Give it all time to settle down before complaining about bugs and stuff.

I just tried to refresh the page and i got a error that said something like runtime error. The only way I could fix it is start a new tab. I will make another post next time it happens again with exactly what it said.

I posted about this in the bug and feedback thread I linked, but it won’t hurt to say it here too. Basically:

  1. My spartan hasn’t updated all the way as of yet
  2. My K/D on this site was correct, then the update to this new software happened and it was much higher, then the site shut down and came back up and it was even higher.
  3. The search bar seems to have been getting progressively worse over time.

Okay just happened again and here is what popped up.

Server Error in ‘/Forums’ Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a “web.config” configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its “mode” attribute set to “Off”.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File →

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode=“Off”/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the “defaultRedirect” attribute of the application’s <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File →

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode=“RemoteOnly” defaultRedirect=“mycustompage.htm”/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

This time I spent like a hour trying to sign in but every time i clicked sign in it just refreshed the page.

> Does not update in forums

That is just the servers getting messed up, not an actual bug.

Anyway

  1. Cea rating is still RP here.
  2. The prepare to drop theme is in the avatar gear section instead of the theme section for some reason.
  3. Mythic ll is missing from this list.
  4. The “Halo 3 picture pack” is in the map pack section instead of the pics one.
  5. When you click on the actual “games” tab, halo 3 and halo wars are backwards in their order, the drop down list has it right.
