Waypoint broke my brand new iphone

I went on halo waypoint to check my CSR, and I literally cannot get out of it. I’m stuck inside the app. Its not completely frozen, I can navigate throughout the app, but I cannot exit the app itself. I can’t shut off my phone either. What do I do.

Just for the record, this wouldn’t have happened if I could have just checked it in game.

Thanks,

Carbine CaL

Its most likley the phone and not Waypoint. Some people will blame anything of 343.

Try and double tap the home button opening the active apps navigator. Click and

hold the apps with your finger and they will begin to shake. Press the - button on

the Waypoint app to close it. I hope it works.

Hold the power and home button. It’ll reset your phone.

*restart.

It’s an iOS issue, if anything. Waypoint might not be compatible with the current version.

I have a feeling that the OP is making this up just to make his feelings known about CSR being on Waypoint only. My apologies to the OP if this is false, but I wouldn’t put it past this site’s community.

just wait for the battery to go down

I doubt it was the phone, its brand new. Had to be the app, its so glitchy anyways.

The restart fixed it thought, made sure to delete the app, Use this guys web app to check CSR, its simple and works better Here

Lol wtf dude, you are NOT serious.
You’re just saying this. I called BS especially when unread the highlighted part.
Omg people on these forums… Seriously guys, grow up. I barely even know what to say…

I am serious, it would not have happened, because I never check waypoint on my phone. CSR was the only reason I had to.

Regardless of whether OP is trolling, I can attest to the fact that browsing Waypoint on my iPhone 5 and iPad 3 is a slow, painful, frustrating experience that has its fair share of glitches and bugs.

Just let it’s charge die? The App is draining more power, so it’ll die down faster.

Thank you, and I am a man of integrity, I can assure you that I would not lie about said things.

Microsoft should definitely optimize the app for apple devices. As it stands, it was developed for the Windows Phone OS and then ported over. Idk why Microsoft hasn’t addressed that already, though I’ve never heard of something as severe as what the OP is saying.

It’s probably because Microsoft and Apple are big competitors.

But giving iPhone owners a shoddy port just makes Microsoft look bad. It just doesn’t make sense from a business standpoint, unless Microsoft thinks that this is some big incentive to buy a Windows-running phone.

Probably the latter rather than the former.

If nothing works, stick something extremely thin (like a needle) into the really tiny hole next to the headphone jack to reset the phone.

I would’ve loved to have it in game too just like in Halo 2 and 3. As for the rest of your post you can’t just blame some glitch on 343i (like the first comment said). iPhones have a lot of weird things that happen to them. Every time I tried to open an app on my old iPhone the screen would go black and it would send me back to the dashboard. Technology can be frustrating at times.

Uhhwhy is the OP using the waypoint app? That hasn’t been updated in for ever which is probably the reason why he’s having trouble.

He should be using the website itself or using smart glass.

Edit:

Also blaming this on 343i, is like driving into the city and being pissed because your tire got punctured by a piece of glass.
