Can anyone explain to me how badges are given out in Waypoint and what they are?

Thats cause you need to earn them and currently the only one available is the one you have right now :slight_smile:

Oh, great. This site has gone downhill since the update; no badges, no polls, no notifications, messed up status and probably more.

I’m pretty sure that badges will be given out to the community again, I don’t think they would have brought them over to the new site with graphics if they weren’t planning on using them. Hopefully once MCC calms down a bit, we’ll see things getting back to normal about here :slight_smile:

I hope you’re right. At this point, these forums are nothing but a bunch of people fighting over what should and what shouldn’t be in the game; no recruiting, no forge/custom game sessions, no montage production or machinimas.

I think the previous Community Manager was big on the badges but we’re still waiting for someone else to take up this particular Mantle of Responsibility. I would like to get a badge or two one day… Been around since 2010 but so far nothing.

All serious though. Rewards are not important. But its what you do that matters.

Well I don’t want a reward just to have a reward… Like the drop thing they gave everyone- I just hid that junk. But maybe performance-based awards, such as for completing certain halo games’ achievements would be very nice. Plus, this is just a “nice to have,” not a “need to have,” that I was just thinking about when I read this thread. Don’t worry, I’m not going to lose any sleep over Waypoint badges… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
