During the showcase 343 just put on regarding Infinite I couldn’t help but notice a mention of a Waypoint mobile app!!!? I’d be pumped if we got one of those! No more manually logging on through the internet!
There are so many positive aspects that have come out of these showcases and I just can’t wait to get into it!
This would help dramatically!
Yup, they actually spoke about this briefly not too long ago.
I believe the next Inside Infinite blog is going to talk about Waypoint & the App too.

It’s definitely going to be a breath of fresh air! Not saying Waypoint is stale just that it hasn’t quite moved with the times yet! It should hopefully bring a huge influx of people navigating the forums - which would be down right fantastic!
I also noticed this and I hope it launches soon because I’d love to have an official app.
Im guessing the new app will drop around Infinites launch? Or maybe even soon when the multiplayer beta comes out late summer. Wither way, lookin forward to it.

No idea when it will come out, but I’d assume closer to the launch of Infinite as it’ll give people that aren’t accustomed to using Waypoint a reason to use it as I’m sure there will be some incentive to do so.
I kind of hope they update it before Infinite launches. Maybe a week or two before. I enjoyed messing with armor last time and it would be fun to do it again. Plus getting acclimated to the new app in advance and all.
I just hope they keep the forums intact! The bungie.net forums have seriously gone downhill over the years, but I really like how Halo Waypoint has stuck with a more traditional forum system. The visuals definitely need to be revamped, but I don’t want to see a Reddit-style design, haha.
I imagine a lot of us here would be a lot more active with the app Can’t wait.
