Curious to hear what you all think about the possibility of there being unlocks in Infinite that are achieved through the App? I think it would be a cool way for them to encourage players to routinely use the new App while getting exclusive unlocks in the game.
Has anyone heard any info on this topic?
I haven’t seen anything, but I see no issue with this. Any way to improve community interaction.

I can see things like nameplates and emblems being tied to the app. I hope that if we do wind up getting stuff like that, or even more substantial things like weapon skins or armor coatings, they’re all tied to merely using the app for stuff like setting your customization in game or creating and setting your emblem/nameplate. If they tie rewards to using the app to make posts on the revamped forums, or forum interaction in general, that’s where things could wind up getting really messy.

Definitely a good call on the forum callout! It would definitely result in the forums being a complete mess!
It’s a good idea. The old waypoint app tracked your achievements across all Halo games and based on how many you unlocked, you ranked up in-app. They could probably add unlocks by the rank in there.
I really do hope they do this, but with the servers for og halo games shutting this year i wouldnt be suprised if they just do mcc, halo wars definitive edtion, halo wars 2 and infinite.
I also do hope they do rewards for og halo games like legacy rewards, and we are yet to have news on a legendary edition if they do one (flaming head possibly?)
I think its a good idea if the app is going to be as functional as they say it will. It would be a good way to get more people involved in it and using it.
