On Xbox360 the Waypoint App was pretty cool back the days, it unlocked you the 343 robot blue ball guy if you use the Waypoint App.
But if 343i waned to add the app for XB1 it could unlock the purple guy in Halo 5’s campaign ( I Don’t do lore sorry, I have no idea what his name is)
and if your active on the XboxOne Waypoint App you can unlock xp codes for Halo 5’s multiplayer or something like that like what Halo 4 did?
I don’t know, but I think it’s a great idea.
I like looking at Waypoint to find out about what problems people have for Halo 5 and updates etc but, i don’t like getting up outta bed and logging on my pc etc…Think about the things Next Gen Xbox can do inset of 360’s waypoint.
like if your active you can unlock avatar items (Purple ball guy) maybe even the monkey family Easter Egg (Halo3) CAN BE An Avatar ITEM !!

back when it first came out alot of people used it but that was years ago so yeah

but, like i said if your active on the app you would be able to unlock more avatar items (monkey family) etc

and if your active on the app you could unlock armor like in HALO REACH?
The Halo Channel app is the new Halo Waypoint app. The Halo Channel could definitely benefit from a complete overhaul. App performance and responsiveness is not that great. An overhaul to include Waypoint functionality into it would bring it up to par with the Waypoint app from Bungie days.
