So I just beat Halo 3 on heroic and went to the Waypoint app to make sure I could unlock the Security chest in Halo Reach, I know I have the GS, but every time I use the app it freezes after about a minute, any help? Or can I get the chest without Waypoint.
I think you’re officially screwed, a close friend of mine bought Reach and is looking into getting CQB helmet but it seems she cannot get it now because the app freezes. 
The Halo Waypoint app on Xbox 360 is no longer officially supported. There is literally nothing you can do about the issue (that I know of), sorry.
With how long it’s been since I’ve played (original xbox days, life happened), I was getting really frustrated with the constant freezing, but now I know why… my luck of getting back in after the app was rendered obsolete. Ah well.
